If you are a songwriter but not yet a member of COMPASS

1. Download Writer Application Form.  This applies to solo songwriters as well as songwriters belonging to a band. Each membership application form should represent an individual.

2. Download Deed of Assignment for Performing Rights (mandatory). DO NOT date the deed.

3. Download Deed of Assignment for Reproduction Rights (optional). DO NOT date the deed.

4. Download Deed of Assignment for Grand Rights (if you compose musical / theatrical works). DO NOT date the deed.

5. Download the Communication Consent Form in order for us to contact you in the future. This is in view of the Personal Data Protection Act that came into effect on 1 July 2014.

6. Provide a photocopy of your IC.

7. Provide your passport-size photograph.

8. Provide a copy of your writer-publisher agreement (if any).

9. If you belong to a duo or band, download the Band Declaration Form. One form to be filled by all members of the duo or band.

10. Provide proof of your copyright ownership – at least one published work (a) two copies of CD or (b) performance acknowledgement letter.

If you are a music publishing company but not yet a member of COMPASS

5. Prepare a printed copy of your ACRA business profile.

6. Prepare a copy of Memorandum & Articles of Associate (Limited Company) OR a copy of Partnership Agreement (Partnership Company).

7. Provide a copy of your standard writer-publisher agreement (signed).

8. Provide proof(s) of copyright ownership – at least five published works.
